Intercultural Relations & Facilitator
Rocco Grigio
Rocco has been creating Shibari gatherings that invite exploration, celebrate difference, and encourage personal expression. Passionate about broadening the dialogue around kinbaku, he seeks alternative perspectives and cultural influences.

Social Media Coordinator
Nefarious Noises
Joh started their rope journey after moving to London where they finally felt at home and found spaces to learn, practice and explore Shibari. Feeling fortunate to learn from trusted teachers in a myriad of styles they continue to absorb all facets of rope, they continue to study and share with others at both ends of the ropes. Joh is an integral part of the rope community helping us get the word out about all of our offerings as they manage our social media channels.

Co-Founder, Curator & Educator
Anna Noctuelle
Anna Noctuelle is a Shibari practitioner with 20 years of experience and an interdisciplinary approach to the practice. She teaches workshops and performs since 2016 and has learned, modelled and co-taught with many influential Rope Artists. She has found her home as a model in Naka-influenced Semenawa and as a rigger in her interpretation of Aibunawa, that reflects her background in embodied practices. She coordinates events and the educational programme at Studio Ma.

Teaching Content Advisor
Butterflycatcher
Chris (he/him) is a long term member of the London Shibari scene. With over a decade of experience with rope, he has been lucky enough to learn from a wide variety of teachers in the UK, Europe and Japan. Naoko and Studio Yukari reignited his passion for Shibari and he is looking forward to sharing that enthusiasm with the community at Studio Ma. He helps developing the teaching content at Studio Ma, is part of the East-West connection and teaches himself when his time allows.

Co-Founder & Membership Coordinator
Marsh
Marsh (she/her) first encountered the world of ropes in Chile, something that grew into a true passion during her time in Barcelona. Since then, she's been exploring Shibari further at various events and workshops in the UK and Europe.
Studio Yukari allowed her to connect with people who continue to accompany her on this journey, strengthening her growth and path within this community. Marsh hosts events and coordinates the membership area but of course she is also happy to help and support with queries.
