OFFERINGS

We offer a diverse range of classes and activities, both in and around Shibari, as well as in other art forms and movement practices. Explore the options below to find what inspires you, and check our Studio Calendar for upcoming classes and events.

Learning Shibari

We offer a series of regular foundational courses that guide you from absolute beginner skills all the way into suspension. These classes give you the time and space to discover your own motivation, explore your preferences, and get a sense of which traditions you may wish to study more deeply, such as Yukimura Style, Akechi Denki Lineage, or Naka Style. Deeper insight and  tuition in these lineages is offered through our international guest teachers and teachers in residence, giving you access to authentic, diverse perspectives as you continue your Shibari journey.

Traditions

We offer dedicated tuition in Yukimura Style, Akechi Denki Lineage, and Naka Style, providing students with access to three distinct and influential traditions of contemporary Shibari. Deeper study in these lineages is supported by our regularly visiting international guest teachers and our teachers in residence, ensuring you can learn directly from experienced practitioners with authentic, diverse perspectives.

Because our resident and guest instructors return on a consistent basis, you’ll have the opportunity to progress within the tradition that resonates most with you and to develop an ongoing relationship with the teacher(s) who inspire your practice. We also host regular info-events introducing the characteristics of each style, helping you find the path that aligns best with your interests and intentions.

Complementary Practices & Events

Alongside our Shibari program, we aim to offer a rich array of complementary practices that deepen your experience and broaden your understanding. Through classes, workshops, and special events, you can explore movement, embodiment, creativity, and holistic wellbeing as part of your rope journey.

We regularly host Shibari performances, Rope Salons, socials, and themed parties that nurture community and inspire artistic exploration. Our movement offerings include practices such as Authentic Movement and Butoh, while our holistic offerings range from Reiki to Tantric-informed approaches—all curated to support your growth, connection, and self-discovery.

If you are a facilitator and and would like to offer your practice in our space, please get in touch - we look forward to hearing from you!

Regular Rope Jams

Join us every Monday for our Open Jams—an inviting space to tie, practice, observe, and connect over Shibari in a calm, intimate setting. There is no introduction and no set theme: simply a quiet environment where you can explore at your own pace. All levels are welcome, and there is absolutely no obligation to tie. We believe that learning comes not only from classes and regular practice, but also from watching peers and absorbing the diversity of their approaches.

In addition to our weekly sessions, we also curate themed Jams that bring a more playful, festive, ritualistic, or otherwise unique atmosphere to the space. Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements.

International Presenters

We are committed to bringing you exceptional presenters, teachers, and performers from around the world, individuals renowned for their skill, experience, and depth of practice. Their diverse perspectives, varied intentions, and unique artistic approaches offer invaluable insight and help broaden your understanding of Shibari’s many expressions. Through these international voices, we aim to enrich your journey with a truly global and multifaceted view of the art.

Private Tuition

If you’d like to deepen your practice in an environment tailored specifically to your needs, our team offers private tuition—either one-on-one or in small groups. This personalised approach allows you to explore at your own pace, focus on your individual goals, and receive dedicated guidance.
Please get in touch for further information or to arrange a class.
